Dr. Shaevitz was born in California, but did his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University and then moved on to attend Southern University of Health Sciences. It was there in 1994 that he graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. Since then, he has been serving residents in Anaheim and Yorba Linda, helping them live pain-free lives. Dr. Shaevitz spends a great deal of time on the community with his community outreach program to educate and promote health in the community. Dr. Shaevitz makes time to offer lectures to the community, and has spoken about Health and Wellness in several nationally known corporations, as well as local University’s. In his free time, Dr. Shaevitz enjoys fitness training, as well as spending time with his wife Janet and 4 children, Breanna, Nolan, Nathan and Nalysse.
Dr. Kevin Shaevitz is the clinical director of Superior Physical Medicine. He has extensive experience in caring for spine, shoulder, elbow and knee related issues. These range from trauma related cases as a result of accidents and sports injuries to scoliosis. This accompanied with his comprehensive post doctoral education allows Dr. Shaevitz to treat both the simple and complicated cases. Dr. Shaevitz has extensive experience treating neck pain, headaches, back pain associated with modern technology. He was one of the first to coin the term “Tech Neck”. Which is a postural change in the spine due to cell phone, tablet and computer use. This Health issue was spotlighted on local TV stations.
Dr. Shaevitz is certified by the Texas Chiropractic College, Academy of Chiropractic Post-Doctoral Division, Long Island, NY, 2012, by having attained postdoctoral education in MRI spine interpretation, electrodiagnostic interpretation, triaging the injured, caring for the trauma patient, crash dynamics and its relationship to causality, documenting clinically correlating causality to bodily injury and accident reconstruction.
